The mission of the Center for Education Development is to provide continuing professional development resources for healthcare providers and their patients that facilitate team-based patient-centered care.
While maintaining a foundation of evidence-based clinical science, the Center for Education Development will integrate instruction to include improvement of team skill competencies for physicians, pharmacists, nurses and the full spectrum of healthcare providers. The Center for Education Development will include the development of education resources for the patient as primary member of the team. The Center for Education Development stresses the relevance of the full spectrum of human experience and values for both patient and the provider team. The Center for Education Development will collaborate with universities, associations, and organizations and employ a range of formats and technologies to achieve its mission. |
